CyAI is a browser extension that provides AI-powered assistance within webpages. We are committed to collecting the minimum data necessary and being transparent about how data is used.
CyAI collects only data required for core functionality and only when you actively use the extension. a. User Input Text prompts you enter into CyAI Content from the active webpage only when you trigger the extension b. Automatically Collected Data Basic, non-identifying diagnostic data (e.g., error logs) No tracking of browsing history or behavior outside active use c. Local Storage Stored locally on your device using browser storage: User preferences and settings Temporary session data CyAI does not collect personally identifiable information unless you explicitly include it in your input.
Data is used exclusively to: Generate AI responses Deliver requested functionality Maintain and improve performance CyAI does not use data for: Advertising Profiling users Cross-site tracking
When you submit a prompt: Your input may be securely transmitted to third-party AI services to generate a response Data is transmitted only at the time of request Requests may be temporarily logged for debugging. CyAI does not: Store your prompts on its own servers Share data with third parties for marketing or analytics
CyAI uses only the permissions necessary for functionality: storage Used to save user preferences locally on your device activeTab Used to access the currently active tab only when you invoke the extension scripting Used to inject scripts into the active page to enable features These permissions are not used for background data collection.
No user data is stored on CyAI servers Data sent to third-party AI services is processed per request and not retained by CyAI Local data remains on your device until you delete it
We use industry-standard safeguards: HTTPS encryption for all data transmission Minimal data handling (no persistent storage) Least-privilege permission model
You can: Remove the extension at any time Clear stored data via browser settings Avoid sending data by not using input features
CyAI is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
